Scholarship Opportunity

The Rennard Strickland School of Tribal Law and Criminal Justice at Bacone College is pleased to offer scholarship funding to cover any student in a State (all 50, D.C. and territories) or the National High School Mock Trial Championship who has a 3.0 GPA or higher  and an interest in law. Annual tuition is $10,910 per academic year, and this is the amount that will be awarded as a scholarship. The baseline admission requirements for Bacone College are found in the Catalog.

Trials for Rounds 1 – 4 will take place at the Bernalillo County District and Bernalillo County Metropolitan Courthouses located across the street from one another at the corner of Lomas and 4th Streets NW, approximately 3 blocks from the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque and the DoubleTree Albuquerque Hotels. The District Court is the building with the blue roof, and the Metro Court is the building with the giant scales of justice in its courtyard.

The Championship Round announcement will be made in the courtyard of the U.S. District Courthouse, and the Final Round will be held in the ceremonial Rio Grande Courtroom of the U.S. District Courthouse, also at the corner of 4th and Lomas, NW.
